Kopis streamlines software systems for South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole & Pardon Services to better manage offender records
The custom software solution integration enables the state agency to serve citizens more effectively and efficiently.
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Kopis, a technology firm focused on providing high-impact software and cloud solutions, as well as business intelligence services to businesses and state agencies, has completed a software integration for the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole & Pardon Services. The state agency selected Kopis to design an enterprise system that integrates its automated systems so offender data is easily and securely accessible to more than 800 agency employees across the state.
Previously, the Department of Probation, Parole & Pardon Services had separate systems for managing two of its automated systems. Kopis integrated the two systems into one seamless software solution so sensitive client information is contained within one system for secure remote access.
In addition to streamlining client databases, Kopis’s software integration enables the agency to automate paperwork to better manage caseloads, records and interfaces with other agencies.
“We customized our approach to modernizing the technology used by the Department of Probation, Parole & Pardon Services so they can better serve communities and victims across the state,” said Andrew Kurtz, CEO of Kopis. “The software integration means processes involving many administrative tasks are now automated so agency staff can focus increased energy on daily operations instead of on headaches caused by inefficient software. Our approach means that Kopis can perform similar modernizations at businesses and state agencies across the country.”
