The Challenge

Palmetto Care Connections was outgrowing their current accounting system. By using both QuickBooks and Excel, the PCC team spent extra hours trying to patch the two systems together as their organization grew.

They were looking to combine all their processes into one system to increase efficiency and get a customized module for USAC reporting requirements.

PCC knew they needed to evaluate and find a new ERP system but also a partner who could help them implement the new system, offer training and ongoing support to their team.

The Process

The Kopis ERP team deployed a cloud-based Business Central and conducted a data migration from QuickBooks to Business Central. Kopis has developed a streamlined data migration process to ensure a quick and easy transfer of information.

Kopis configured:

  • A general ledger with dimensions
  • Cash management with Check and EFT configurations
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts Receivable

After internally testing all business processes on the new system, Kopis took the PCC team through training on all new Business Central capabilities.

The project management team at Kopis has worked very hard to make the project successful. They have been quick to address any challenges we have had.

The Results

PCC’s business processes are now consolidated in Business Central.  The updated ERP system:

  • Consolidated and integrated business critical systems into one responsive and reliable accounting system
  • Increased efficiencies in supplying products to clients which has reduced overall costs

  • Empowers users to easily access data pertinent to their roles
